Legends Of War hails from the final crop of the Late, great, Sire Scat Daddy. Legends of War first hit the headlines when topping the 2018 Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up sale when hammered down for 900,000gns. That looked money well spent when he broke his maiden tag in the May of his two year old campaign with a run away success over six furlongs. He then followed that success with a second to Emaraaty Ana by less than a length in the G2 Gimcrack Stakes that same year for John Gosdon and Qatar Racing and a G2 second in the Wainwrights Flying Childers Stakes and G2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte. At two years old he earned himself a mark of 110 OR as a juvenile before heading across the pond to the US to the yard of Doug O'Neill. Under Doug O'Neill's care he then went onto be stakes placed at Santa Anita and ultimately won the Grade 3 Franklin-Simpson Stakes showing emphatic speed to win from the front at Kentucky Downs! Legends of War won four races and was placed on five other occasions out of his fifthteen starts. Standing at 16hh he is a model of strength, power and speed, he will be an exciting prospect at stud for his first season 2021.
